Stupid scale

Despite eating well and getting about 5 hours of exercise, I lost only one pound last week (I weighed in on Sunday). Which, promptly disappeared and turned into a 4 pound weight GAIN on Monday--the one I lost, and three extra.

This makes no logical sense to me. On Tuesday, the scale says the same thing: I've somehow magically (evil, dark magic, mind you) gained four pounds since Sunday.

Today, I decided to try Weight Watchers again. Without signing up, as the whole online setup drives me nuts since half the time it doesn't work, and it isn't convenient since I don't have a smartphone. Not to mention the insane cost. Instead I plan to use calorie and nutrition books I just bought (four of them, just to be sure I have plenty of info) and the calculator I'd bought from Weight Watchers previously. Scales to weigh food is in the near future as well.

So far this week, I've exercised 75 minutes Sunday and 45 minutes last night.

Here's hoping I can lose that four pound gain--and another two--by Sunday so I can keep on track with my goal to lose an initial 20 pounds by March 4.
